"Building Together" is a fundraising compilation record brought to you by SixTwelve & Swat Meet Inc out of OKC.
Over the summer, both community building/after care programs banded together to create a unique experience for children, musicians, listeners and the community.
They assembled a team of Oklahoma based artists to meet up with kids from their respective aftercare programs virtually, talked to them about what kind of songs they would want to hear and helped them develop these ideas. Then, they reached out to artists from all over Oklahoma to transform these wild child imaginings into fully fledged songs. The record sees familiar bands performing material about content you might not usually expect from them. From Jabee crooning about different cartoons over the decades, Samantha Crain singing about how the world loves to be green or Broncho singing about the simplicity of a great friendship. And everything inbetween. By purchasing this record, you are helping to keep SixTwelve & Swat Meet doing what they do best. Working together to build a better community. Thank you.
The copper yellow vinyl includes 2 inserts with lyric sheets and a thank you card. In addition, you will be the first to hear all these songs, as the full digital release will be later and vinyl comes with a complimentary download immediately.
